Hot tapping lets you make a new connection to a live pipeline without shutting it down, no interruption to supply, no drain down. Elite Southwest offers live tapping up to 16 bar pressure on pipelines up to 1000mm diameter and across all materials, with a portfolio of work that includes the UK's major water companies.

Our larger rig drills up to 6 inch for take off points. The smaller rig covers up to 2 inch for pressure monitoring or insertion probe flow monitoring, and with our partner we can offer MCERT compliant flow monitoring where regulatory reporting demands it.
